How we establish who you are, and how we detect misuse of the platform.
Identity is established through PAN verification against NSDL, Aadhaar-based KYC through DigiLocker with your consent, a liveness check and face match against your KYC photograph, and a bank-account name match confirmed by a small test credit.
We retain a masked Aadhaar reference, a PAN token, address and document hashes and verification scores — never your raw Aadhaar number. Records are retained for the period the law requires.
Applications and accounts are monitored for indicators of misuse: repeated applications across identities, device and SIM anomalies, re-used documents, mismatched geolocation, and repayment patterns inconsistent with the declared profile.
We refuse or discontinue a relationship where identity cannot be established satisfactorily, and we report suspicious activity to the authorities as required by law. Where reporting obligations apply, we may be unable to tell you that a report has been made.
Applicants are screened against applicable sanctions and negative lists before onboarding, and periodically thereafter.
Verification is a legal obligation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and the Reserve Bank of India’s Know Your Customer directions, and it is what stops a loan being taken in your name by someone else. It is not a formality and it cannot be waived.
Identity is confirmed against PAN and, through DigiLocker, against Aadhaar, with a liveness check to confirm the person applying is the person on the document. Bank ownership is confirmed by a penny-drop into the account you nominate, matching the account name to the verified identity.
Transactions and account behaviour are monitored against defined risk indicators. Where activity meets the reporting threshold set by law, the lender reports it to the Financial Intelligence Unit. Reporting obligations are not disclosed to the customer, because the law does not permit it.
Records are retained for the period the law requires after the relationship ends, and then deleted. Retention is a statutory obligation rather than a business preference, so we cannot delete them earlier on request.
No. Money is credited only to an account in your own name that has passed the penny-drop name match. This protects you as much as us, and no exception is available.
No documentation, disbursal to your own bank account, and every charge disclosed in your Key Fact Statement before you accept.
