What we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
Identity details including your name, PAN, the result of Aadhaar-based verification and date of birth; contact details; employment and income information; bank account details for disbursal and repayment; your credit bureau report; and technical data about the device and session you apply from.
Why we collect it
To verify that you are who you say you are, to assess whether a loan is affordable for you, to disburse funds to the correct account, to service and collect the loan, to prevent fraud, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Nothing is collected speculatively for future products.
Consent, and what happens without it
Identity verification and the credit bureau enquiry happen only after you give explicit, versioned consent in the application. You may decline — but we cannot assess or sanction a loan without those checks.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary: our lending partner, payment and disbursal providers, identity-verification and credit bureau services, and regulators or courts where the law requires it. We never sell your data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
What we never ask for
Your contact list, photo gallery, messages and call logs are not needed to assess a loan and we do not request them. Anyone claiming otherwise on our behalf is not acting for us — report them to support immediately.
How long we keep it
For as long as your loan is active, and for the retention period the law requires afterwards. Beyond that, records are deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Your rights
Ask for a copy of your data, ask for corrections, withdraw consent for future processing, or ask for deletion where we are not legally required to retain it. Write to privacy@advancerupay.com.
