What we assess
Beyond the basics, the decision rests on verified income, your existing obligations, your credit bureau report and whether a single repayment fits your cash flow. Offers are sized to capacity, which is why the amount approved is sometimes lower than the amount requested.
Common reasons for decline
We state the specific reason on the decline screen rather than leaving you guessing.
If you are declined
A cool-off period applies before you can reapply, stated on the decline screen. If your income or employment changes before then, write to support rather than reapplying blindly.
